midterms

so mid review last week and midterm earlier today, free time aplenty now

time to think of a Halloween costume

mid-review

we had our mid-review today which means last night I had my first all nighter (that was school related).

i'm still not sleeping yet for some reason and there is a girl (one of my roommates work friends) throwing up her innards in our bathroom.

This should be an interesting weekend.

Lombardi's

last night went to the brooklyn brewery which is a pretty cool place.

today, went to Lombardi's (after a disappointing football game). Apparently its America's first pizzeria and is by far one of the best pizza's I've had.

nothing special going on I guess, but this is gonna be a busy week with school.

and so insomnia strikes again

well maybe not insomnia, just a poor nap taking decision.

it's been an eventful/fun weekend though.

Friday night our friend came into town and we went to a comedy club call the Upright Citizens Brigade which was pretty fun then hit up the bars.

Saturday I booked flight back home for thanksgiving, ate at a place called Caracas which served Venezuelan food (which I don't think I had ever had before) which was probably the best meal I have had in New York and for only $15. Hung out with some friends on their roof (which I am still jealous that we don't have access to ours) then met up with another friend who was in town from jersey.

And today, instead of going into studio and working, I chose to go to a bar and get all you can eat wings (my fingers still smell like the sauce), plenty of beer, and watch football. After that I went into food coma mode, woke up at 8:30 and now I can't sleep.

psh...grad school

had our first critique thurday. seemed pretty easy going compared to knowlton, but then again none of us really had a project. as a side note, the first review that I was actually able to hear everything going on.

It's been pretty boring because of school and I find myself more excited for the weekend than I used to be. Good thing this weekend has 3-days because of Yom Kippur.

did laundry for the first time here (after being here for 4 weeks and having no clean clothes)

san gennaro

so apparently there is this big italian festival called san gennaro that is gonna be outside my apartment for 10 days...this should be interesting


btw, the free refill daiquiris available at the festival are not worth it due to the fact that they were probably the most vile thing i have ever drank

labor day weekend

first week of classes went pretty well
managed to go out three nights this three day weekend
new york has been fun
